About us

Farmertronics has been started in May 2012 by me as an entrepreneur, mechanical and software engineer and son of a Dutch farmer, to investigate the automation needs of the agri culture market. To make a next step in smart and sustainable farming, I decided to start the development of an unmanned clean tech tractor, the eTrac, electrically driven to work the land without any interference of the farmer. This tractor should be beneficially for farmers but also for the whole society on the long term. By using renewable energy instead of fossil fuels, the world wide climate change may be stopped one day.
